Job description

Our client, based in Essex County, NJ is seeking a Junior Product Engineer to support new product development, process improvement, and manufacturing optimization. This role offers the opportunity to work cross-functionally with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to bring products from concept to commercialization.
Responsibilities
  • Support new product development projects.
  • Plan and execute product trials and process improvement initiatives.
  • Evaluate raw materials and manufacturing processes.
  • Conduct product testing and analyze results.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Quality, Operations, and EHS teams.
  • Document testing, trials, and project outcomes.
  • Assist with product launches and continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Chemical, Materials, or Manufacturing
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Internship, co-op, or related engineering experience.
  • Mechanical testing, manufacturing, or materials science experience is a plus.
