Imaging Service Engineer
Location: Upper New York State
Salary: $70,000 - $85,000 + Excellent Benefits!
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Imaging Engineer to join our growing team. This role involves the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of medical imaging systems, specifically X-ray, ultrasound and Nuclear Medicine equipment. Your technical expertise will be essential in ensuring compliance with industry standards and enhancing customer satisfaction through effective service delivery!
Key Responsibilities
Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on X-ray, ultrasound and Nuclear Medicine equipment systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Technical Support: Quickly diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions, documenting all service activities to maintain accurate records.
Regulatory Adherence: Ensure all procedures comply with applicable regulatory requirements, collaborating with medical professionals to uphold safety standards.
Customer Engagement: Foster strong relationships with clients by providing clear communication regarding equipment status and addressing any concerns effectively.
Inventory Oversight: Manage inventory levels of essential replacement parts and conduct inspections of newly acquired medical devices to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Physical Requirements
Ability to regularly stand, walk, sit, and use hands; occasional reaching, climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
Physically capable of moving and lifting objects as required.
Visual acuity including close, distance, peripheral vision, color perception, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Qualifications
An Associate Degree in a technical or electronics field, or equivalent experience is required. Candidates with relevant certifications may be considered without a degree.
A minimum of 1 years of experience in the maintenance and troubleshooting of medical imaging equipment, with a focus on X-ray, ultrasound and Nuclear Medicine equipment. (Biomedical engineers also considered)
A valid driver's license is necessary, with a willingness to travel based on client needs.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, alongside strong interpersonal abilities to effectively engage with customers.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and basic networking knowledge.
