About the Role:

Job Summary

The Biomedical Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance, safety, and reliability of biomedical and medical equipment used in healthcare settings. This position is responsible for the installation, maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of a wide range of biomedical devices that support patient care and clinical operations. The technician collaborates closely with clinical and administrative staff to resolve equipment issues promptly, conduct safety inspections, maintain accurate records, and ensure full compliance with regulatory and manufacturer standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesEquipment Maintenance & Repair
  • Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and repair of biomedical equipment including diagnostic, therapeutic, and monitoring devices.

  • Respond promptly to service requests and troubleshoot malfunctions to minimize downtime and clinical disruption.

  • Conduct routine safety, electrical, and performance inspections in accordance with manufacturer and regulatory standards (FDA, IEC, ISO, etc.).

Minimum Qualifications
