Responsibilities
In this role the Neuro Analyst will perform the following job duties:
  • Responsible for the digital data management of all clinical neurophysiological exams.
  • Advanced proficiency in Persyst software, technical troubleshooting, montage configuration, data reduction techniques, computer operations, networking, various network recording media, video specifications, and digital EEG recording principles.
  • Possess deep expertise in identifying artifacts, as well as recognizing normal and abnormal EEG findings across all age groups.
  • Strong understanding of seizure types, seizure classifications, epilepsy syndromes, and their pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments including comorbidities is essential.
  • Clinical knowledge to directly support data reduction processes and informed decision-making.
  • Provide system-level clinical data management support for Natus, Cadwell, Nihon Kohden, and Viasonix systems used across UF Health, including sites in Gainesville, Jacksonville, Central Florida, St Johns, and Leesburg.
  • Collaborate with IT partners who provide IT governance to Neurodiagnostics in maintaining clinical software settings requiring clinical input and managing the long-term storage and retrieval of clinical data

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in Information Technology or Allied Health (required).
  • Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited END training program (highly desirable).
  • Active registry credentials in both EEG and LTM (R.EEGT and CLTM) are required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Neuro Analyst or in an advanced neuro-monitoring role requiring CLTM (e.g., Neuro Reader).
  • Experience working closely with IT and Biomedical Engineering teams is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of networking, clinical EEG systems, data management, and medical records retention laws is required.
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration:
  • BLS for Healthcare Providers (American Heart Association).
  • Active registry credentials in both EEG and LTM (R.EEGT and CLTM) are required.
