Medicreations LLC is an aesthetic device manufacturer with a production facility, right here in Las Vegas. We design advanced medical-grade devices for our amazing customers.

We're looking for an Electronic/Laser Service Technician to build advanced medical and aesthetic devices in our facility here in town.

Medicreations is an exciting, fast-paced, and rewarding company that is expanding the Manufacturing and Service Team in Las Vegas and is looking for full-time, highly skilled professional service engineers and technicians.

You must have a strong willingness to learn, an eye for detail, and the ability to take pride in what you build. Ideally, you would have a background in consumer electronics repair but more broadly we need people who aren't afraid to solder, assemble, and disassemble fairly complex devices. The actual details of what you need to build (and how) will be taught on the job via our Quality Control Procedures and Methods.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Instruct and assist assembly technicians on standard operating procedures/performance of job duties
  • Work with management to resolve problems and develop techniques for special projects/programs
  • Meticulously comply with all relevant company, safety, and regulatory procedures
  • Interact with customers on technical support calls for device problems
  • Travel to perform in-person device repairs/troubleshooting and installations
  • Uses skills as an experienced professional to complete installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex lasers and other aesthetic equipment both in-house and at customer locations (minimal travel requirements)
  • Troubleshoots a wide range of issues on assigned equipment to component level to determine root cause and replaces/repairs defective components and or assemblies utilizing industry-accepted standards and practices
  • Repairs, tests, calibrates and certifies all equipment is operational in accordance with manufacturers specifications, established guidelines, and/or accepted industry standards
  • Accurately and thoroughly documents work completed on assigned equipment and complete all assignments in a timely manner
  • Completes assigned video calls to professionally assist customers and other 3rd parties with installation, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment
  • Provides guidance and training to coworkers and other assigned individuals and actively participates in group training programs
  • Provides management, customers, and coworkers with timely and accurate technical information in a direct, understandable, and positive manner
  • Shows initiative, excellent customer service, follow established procedures and works in a safe manner

  • Independent thinker making technical decisions that best support the customer
  • Proficient with the operation and use of oscilloscopes, multi-meters, energy-measuring devices, computers, and other lab equipment
  • Demonstrates excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Punctual and well organized
  • Positive, team-focused attitude

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years in electronics repair and/or comparable vocational education
  • Comfort with building and taking apart complex consumer machinery
  • Ability to work from digital work instructions, blueprints, drawings, manufacturing specs, and work orders
  • Competency in soldering and other relevant skills
  • Ability to work with a team to meet deadlines
  • Solid verbal communications skills
  • Demonstrated leadership ability
  • Ability to lift/carry up to fifty (50) pounds
  • Laser/Electro-optics experience is a big plus
