Relevant du Directeur Méthode et Programmation le stagiaire devra épauler les programmeurs.

Responsabilités

  • Élaborer ou mettre à jour les programmes pour les fraiseuses et tours à contrôle num
  • érique 3,4 et 5 axes à l’aide du programme Catia V5 ;
  • Produire et gérer les documents de montage et d’historique ;
  • Déterminer les étapes d’usinage requises en collaboration avec le département des méthodes ;
  • Lire et interpréter des plans et des modèles en 3D et examiner les échantillons de pièces ;
  • Supporter les opérateurs lors des montages et en cours de production si nécessaire ;
  • Créer occasionnellement des croquis pour les départements des méthodes ou d’inspection ;
  • Élaborer toutes les étapes servant à la fabrication des gabarits de montage (conception, méthodes, programmation) ;
  • Dessiner en 3D certains assemblages ou pièces ;
  • Faire la recherche pour des outils spéciaux, si nécessaire. Compléter les fichiers de suivi diverses ou toutes autres tâches connexes ;
  • Être à l’affut des nouveaux développements et processus dans l’industrie aéronautique ;
  • Travailler en étroite collaboration avec tous les départements.

Exigences d’emploi

Scolarité requise

· Diplôme d’études collégiales (DEC) en programmation/ou en mécanique ou BAC en génie mécanique ou aéronautique en cours ;

· Stage obligatoire pour l’obtention du baccalauréat \ ou DEC ;

Expérience minimale

· Expérience en lien avec le poste ou dans le domaine aéronautique (un atout)

Compétences personnelles

· Sens de l’organisation, esprit d’analyse et ingéniosité ;

Position Purpose

Reporting to the Methods and Programming Director, the intern will support the programmers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop or update programs for 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC milling machines and lathes using Catia V5 software.
  • Produce and manage setup documentation and machining history records.
  • Determine required machining steps in collaboration with the Methods Department.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and 3D models, and review part samples.
  • Support operators during setups and production when required.
  • Occasionally create sketches for the Methods or Inspection departments.
  • Develop all steps required for the fabrication of assembly fixtures (design, methods, programming).
  • Create 3D drawings of certain assemblies or parts.
  • Conduct research for special tools when required and complete various tracking files or other related tasks.
  • Stay informed about new developments and processes in the aerospace industry.
  • Work closely with all departments.

Job Requirements Education

  • Currently enrolled in a college diploma (DEC) program in programming or mechanical engineering, or a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
  • Internship must be a mandatory requirement for completion of the DEC or bachelor’s degree.

Minimum Experience

  • Experience related to the position or in the aerospace industry is an asset.
