Posting Summary
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Student Assistant in the Department of Center for Immunity and Inflammation within the New Jersey Medical School (NJMS).
The positions involve supporting lab operations, assisting with experiments, maintaining equipment, and contributing to ongoing research projects. Ideal candidates will have a strong attention to detail, an interest in scientific research, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic lab environment.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:

• Maintain Lab Organization: Ensure that the lab is well-organized, tidy, and equipped for daily operations and research experiments.
• Support Data Collection and Entry: Assist with gathering, entering, and managing data to ensure accuracy and timely completion of research tasks.
• Operate Equipment: Help set up and operate lab equipment, ensuring that all tools and instruments are functioning properly for experiments.
• Contribute to Research Experiments: Assist in conducting research, including preparation and execution of experiments, following established protocols
• Assist with Lab Operations: Support daily administrative and operational tasks to ensure smooth lab functioning.
• Enhance Lab Productivity: Contribute to the efficiency of the lab by assisting with tasks, ensuring the timely completion of duties, and providing general support to lab staff and researchers.

Minimum Education and Experience

• Current enrollment in a relevant academic program (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field).
