🌎 District Sales Manager — Analytical Instrumentation

📍 Based in the Memphis, TN, area | Regional Travel Required

Swan Analytical USA is a global leader in high-precision water analysis instrumentation, and we’re looking for a District Sales Manager to join our team.


This is an exciting opportunity for a technically minded sales professional who thrives at the intersection of science and business — someone who enjoys connecting technology with customer needs to deliver real-world value.


What You’ll Do

  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies to exceed growth targets.
  • Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline through proactive outreach and relationship building.
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities while supporting existing accounts.
  • Collaborate with technical experts to deliver engaging demos and solutions.
  • Prepare persuasive presentations and proposals for customers and partners.
  • Negotiate contracts with a focus on mutual success.
  • Report on sales performance, market insights, and customer feedback.
  • Represent Swan Analytical at trade shows, conferences, and industry events.

🗓️ A typical week includes office days on Mondays and Fridays at your home, with most regional travel occurring from Tuesday through Thursday.


What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Biology, or related field (preferred).
  • Sales experience in analytical instrumentation, water analysis, or other technical fields is a bonus.
  • Previous experience in water treatment, wastewater treatment, and power plant chemistry (preferred)
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and results-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regionally.
