What would you do?

Deliver exceptional, differentiated solutions for our clients that advance their ambitions for digital laboratory operations and scientific intelligence. As a Forward Deployed Scientific Informatics Consultant, you can expect to:

  • Utilize AI tools to effectively elicit, demonstrate, develop, and scale solutions that meet the needs of laboratory scientists across the value chain
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews and working sessions to gather insights and clarify needs
  • Analyze and translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications for development and configuration of custom and off-the-shelf solutions
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including requirement specifications, use cases, user stories, and design documents
  • Operate in and perform project management activities for both waterfall and agile methodologies
  • Support the design and implementation of solutions that comply with regulatory standards in GxP and non-GxP environments
  • Support the accurate and timely design, creation, and migration of scientific master data and transactional data
  • Provide training and ongoing support to end-users on new systems and processes
  • Prepare SDLC documents (Process Maps, Workflows, Specs, Test Scripts, etc.)
  • Provide point-of-view on laboratory and scientific informatics solutions and strengths and weaknesses of various technology solutions
  • Advise on data and system architectures as they relate to industry solutions for the laboratory
  • Help clients better capture, handle, integrate and analyze complex scientific data
  • Oversee, design, and implement digital solutions such as Agentic Lab Capabilities, Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), Electronic Laboratory Notebooks (ELN), Chromatography Data Systems (CDS), Scientific Data Management Systems (SDMS),Instrument Orchestration technologies, Internet of Things (IoT), and cloud
  • Travel - candidates must be willing to travel up to 50% to client locations

Who do we need - Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ Years of experience working in the field of scientific and laboratory informatics, within R&D and/or QC Manufacturing spaces
  • Bachelor's Degree in a Laboratory Science / Life Science (e.g., Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Microbiology) or Computer Science or Engineering (e.g., Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in consulting
  • Experience working in or with life sciences R&D, QC, or IT
  • Implementation experience with any of the following laboratory solutions: Benchling, Revvity Signals, Waters CDS/SDMS, Dotmatics, LabVantage, LabWare, SampleManager, Scitara, TetraScience
  • Strong interpersonal skills and both verbal and written communication skills
