Title Visiting Lecturer position in Biology Appointment Status Non-Tenure Track Department IU Bloomington Biology Location Bloomington Position Summary
The Department of Biology in the College of Arts and Sciences at Indiana University invites applicants to fill a full-time non-tenure track visiting Lecturer position beginning August 1, 2026. The appointment is for two years. Responsibilities include teaching four courses a year: a 200-level molecular biology lecture (both semesters), and 1-2 additional courses in an area appropriate to the candidate's expertise.
Basic Qualifications
A Ph.D. in a biological discipline is desirable, and MS is required.

Additional Qualifications
Postdoctoral training or teaching experience may be considered but is not required. Candidates should have strong communication and organizational skills, and documented evidence of classroom and/or laboratory teaching ability.
