Biologist
Position Overview
ATL is seeking a dynamic Biologist to join our team of dedicated professionals focused on client service and quality. The ideal candidate will be motivated, energetic, forward-thinking, and possess outstanding leadership development and/or technical skills, organizational awareness, and a commitment to excellence.
Major Responsibilities:
  • Protein purification
  • Perform both ELISA's and mammalian cell culture assays
  • Act as the lead for a team of 5 associates
  • Take on and manage several critical projects within the group
  • Execute routine/protocol driven biochemical assays
  • Perform cell culture
  • Record data in electronic notebooks
  • General Lab Maintenance
  • Perform other essential tasks, projects, and responsibilities as required

Requirements:
  • Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's Degree in Biology or related discipline with 6+ months of experience in cell culture and assay techniques
  • Previous lab experience with both assays (ELISA's preferably) and mammalian cell culture
  • Previous leadership and/or management experience to potentially lead a team of 5 associates
  • Proven consistent pipetting skills and aseptic technique
  • Strong written and oral communications skills
  • Previous experience in the consumer products, pharmaceuticals, personal care, and/or food and beverage industries is required. Experience working in an FDA/cGMP regulated environment is preferred
