Job Specifics
Location: 744 S Webster Ave, Green Bay, WI 54301
FTE Status: 0.60 FTE (24 hours/week)
Work Schedule: Day shift, weekend and holiday rotation.
Job Description:
Responsible for performing lab tests, maintaining a safe environment, operating and maintaining lab equipment, collecting and processing specimens, and serving as a reference and resource for lab customers. Sets and maintains standards of practice in a lab setting. Performs clerical duties as necessary.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or associate' degree in medical technology, chemical, physical, or biological science required. Completion of Medical Laboratory Specialist training through the United States Military may be considered in lieu of degree.
American Society Clinical Pathologist (ASCP) certification or American Medical Technologists (AMT) certification required within one year of hire.
One year of experience in healthcare laboratory preferred.
