Job description

Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage a team and collaborate with cross‑functional departments.

Minimum 3 Years Experience in mRNA Manufacturing in a lead or supervisory role.

Basic to Medium knowledge Of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

Strong understanding of DNA/RNA synthesis, purification and analytical techniques.

Minimum Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of experience in a lead role in DNA/mRNA Manufacturing
  • Master’s degree in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Preferably industry experience in downstream process development for large biomolecules, including mRNA, DNA or pDNA industry related activities.
  • Hands‑on experience with filtration technologies and lyophilization unit operation is a plus.
  • Yellow or Green Belt Six Sigma Certification will be a plus.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Proactive approach, focus on prevention and problem solving.
  • Fluent in English.

We are seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Team Lead to join our growing team focused on ssDNA manufacturing. As the leader of our manufacturing team, you will play a critical role in the production of ssDNA and introduction of new technologies.

We are looking for someone with a strong background in mRNA manufacturing, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for driving results and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage ssDNA manufacturing operations.

Collaborate with Process Development and R&D teams transferring new process technologies and analytical techniques from development to manufacturing.

Maintain detailed documentation to ensure data integrity and compliance with internal records. Maintain up to date status of the maintenance of equipment and suites/laboratory organization.

Maintain and draft/review Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) used in Manufacturing.

Develop and implement manufacturing strategies to ensure efficient and effective production ssDNA.

Collaborate with Process Development and R&D teams to drive innovation and continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.

Lead a team of manufacturing Production Engineers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.

Monitor and analyse production metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

Lead Root Cause Analysis together with Production Team members.

Ensure compliance with appropriate regulatory and safety standards in manufacturing.

Manage and maintain production schedules to meet project timelines and deliver quality products.

Identify and implement cost-saving measures to optimize manufacturing processes.

Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in mRNA/DNA/ssDNA manufacturing technology.

Train and onboard new team members and provide ongoing training and development opportunities for existing team members.

Communicate effectively with management, providing regular updates on manufacturing performance and progress.

Participate in strategic planning and decision‑making processes to support company goals and objectives.

Contribute to a positive and collaborative work culture, promoting teamwork and a strong sense of accountability.
