Description:

At the direction of the Area Vice President, responsible for driving and maintaining revenue growth in respective territory and supporting revenue generation and account management. Under supervision of the Regional Director, identifies, trains, educates, and launches pain therapies in targeted accounts. Drives account adoption through deep understanding of patient selection and account support. Manage assigned accounts to both clinically executed and commercially assists with sales activities and business development. 

Requirements:

 Duties and responsibilities

1. Follows-up on physician targets.

2. Manages target pipelines through business planning, sales activity, training, and account launching. 

3. Drives standard of care through integrating pain therapies into the treatment algorithm.

4. Provides case coverage in territory.

5. Supports physicians and physician’s staff with technical knowledge of product assisting with presentations and coordination of corporate resources to facilitate target build and closure.

6. Delivers and presents product presentations, surgical techniques, and white papers in support of sales and corporate marketing campaigns.

7. Understands product and clinical positioning, brand management and strategy. Ensures these are reflected in oral presentations to physicians and distributors.

8. Monitors competitive landscape to stay abreast of market trends and communicates findings to corporate marketing.

9. Maintains frequent and regular contact with RSD and VP and collaborates responsively and proactively with Sales to ensure quality product support, training programs, and key physician and account management.

10. Supports the Medical Training by assisting in the preparation and running of physician training courses that may include didactic ad cadaver labs.

11. Participates in strategic sales and marketing planning activities for assigned products in order to identify key targets, physicians, and hospitals by specific product.

12. Performs other duties as assigned. 


Qualifications

  • Five or more years of relevant sales or technical sales support experience in biologics and/or      medical devices preferably pain management required.
  • Proven track record of sales performance and professionalism.
  • Undergraduate degree.
  • Excellent presentation skills with a good command of PowerPoint and other media.
  • Prior experience or ability to use Salesforce.com is essential.
  • Ability to travel up to 75%.

Working conditions

Travel by means of air, train, and car.
