Job description

Job Summary (List Format):
- Position: Cloud Infrastructure/AI/ML Engineer (Contract, 12+ months, Hybrid)
- Location: Waltham, MA (Hybrid: 1-2 days onsite; free parking; relocation at candidate’s expense)
- Focus: Enable infrastructure for AI/ML model development and bioinformatics applications
- Bioinformatics: Must have strong experience in bioinformatics, including pipeline execution and workflow management
- Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, deploy, and manage AI/ML models and frameworks
- Execute and manage bioinformatics pipelines and environments
- Manage data for diverse bioinformatics workflows
- Technical Skills:
- Minimum 3+ years in cloud infrastructure, AI/ML, and bioinformatics pipeline management
- Expertise in HPC (High Performance Computing), AWS, DNAnexus, AWS Sagemaker AI
- Experience with cloud platforms: AWS, GCP
- Proficiency in Python and Bash
- Containerization experience (Docker, Kubernetes preferred)
- Familiarity with S3 AWS Storage and data storage (nice to have)
- Experience with NGS data analysis workflow automation (Snakemake, Nextflow is a plus)
- Education: MS or PhD required
- Communication: Strong communication skills are essential
- Visa/Employment:
- All visa types accepted (including H1B, EAD-GC, L2 EAD, H4-EAD, but not OPT/CPT/TN/E3)
