## Senior Bioinformatics / Scientific Data EngineerApplylocations: US - MD, Rockvilletime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: 41668**Job Family:**Data Science & Analysis**Travel Required:**None**Clearance Required:**Ability to Obtain Public Trust**What You Will Do:*** Designs, develops, and maintains data pipelines and computational workflows to support large-scale scientific or analytical datasets.* Implements ETL processes and workflow automation to ensure data is analysis-ready and reproducible.* Performs data validation, quality control, and documentation of data pipelines and provenance.* Collaborates with technical and domain teams to troubleshoot data issues and tailor solutions to analytical needs.* Optimizes performance and resource usage for high-volume data processing.**What You Will Need:*** Master’s degree in bioinformatics, computational science, or related field* FIVE 5 years’ relevant experience.* Proficiency in Python, R, and workflow tools; experience with databases and cloud/HPC environments.* Experience working with complex or scientific datasets.* Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD "public trust"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their public trust prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an active public trust or suitability are preferred**What Would Be Nice To Have:*** Experience in distributed computing or large-scale data environments* Familiarity with research data ecosystems.* Prior NIH experienceThe annual salary range for this position is $98,000.00-$163,000.00.
