Water Damage / Restoration Technician

 Portland, OR | Temp-to-Hire

DPI Staffing is hiring motivated and dependable Water Damage / Restoration Technicians to be a part of our customer’s growing Restoration team in Portland, Oregon. In this hands-on role, you’ll respond to water damage and emergency situations, helping restore homes and businesses after unexpected events.

No experience? No problem—training is provided for the right candidate with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Pay: $17–$27/hour (DOE)

Schedule: Monday–Friday (typically 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM, may vary) 

Some of what you’ll be doing:
  • Assist with water damage mitigation and mold remediation 
  • Perform emergency board-ups and cleanup services 
  • Work in crawl spaces, attics, and other job site environments 
  • Support lead technicians on restoration projects 
  • Complete job documentation and maintain equipment 
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency response 
  • Perform biohazard cleanup 
What we’re looking for:
  • 18+ years old 
  • High school diploma or GED 
  • Strong work ethic and reliability 
  • Able to lift up to 75 lbs. with assistance and work in physically demanding environments 
  • Comfortable working around water, mold, sewage, fire damage, and biohazards 
  • Prior experience in construction helpful
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required)
