Job Title: Scientist / Senior Researcher – Proteomics


Location: Mason, OH 45040
Pay Rate: $36.25/hour (W2)
Standard Hours: 40 hours/week
Travel: 0–20%
Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
 


Position Summary:

Seeking a talented and motivated Scientist or Senior Researcher with expertise in Bottom-Up Proteomics and Mass Spectrometry to support R&D efforts at their Mason, OH facility. This role is best suited for a candidate with hands-on experience in advanced proteomic techniques and instrumentation, particularly in industrial or academic settings. You will play a key role in solving complex technical problems and driving innovation in analytical and biochemical research.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and perform experiments focused on Bottom-Up Proteomics workflows.

  • Operate and maintain Mass Spectrometry (MS) instruments for proteomic analyses.

  • Apply analytical techniques to support ongoing research in biology, chemistry, or molecular sciences.

  • Use software tools (such as Skyline) for quantitative proteomics data analysis.

  • Analyze data from LC-MS/MS platforms, ideally including Sciex Triple Quadruple instruments.

  • Contribute to project direction with minimal supervision and help integrate research findings across disciplines.

  • Prepare scientific reports, technical documents, and contribute to publication efforts when needed.

  • Maintain a high level of laboratory quality, documentation, and compliance with safety regulations.


Required Qualifications:
  • BS, MS, or PhD in Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field.

  • Several years of hands-on experience in:

    • Bottom-Up Proteomics

    • Mass Spectrometry (MS)

    • General Proteomics techniques

  • Experience gained through academic research or industrial laboratories.
