Job description

Bio-Rad is looking for a driven, science-passionate Product Manager II to join our Life Science Group, focused on our Western blotting and proteomics product portfolio. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives at the intersection of the bench and the business - someone who gets equally excited about a clean blot and a well-crafted go-to-market strategy. How You'll Make An Impact:

  • Serve as the internal champion and market authority for your product lines.
  • Partner with R&D to shape new product development, define customer requirements grounded in your hands-on technical expertise, and translate complex science into compelling value propositions.
  • Develop and execute launch plans, create technical marketing content, support field sales teams with training and collateral, and actively engage with customers and key opinion leaders to stay ahead of market needs.
  • Monitor competitive dynamics and portfolio performance, providing strategic input to drive sustainable growth.
  • This role requires a self-starter who brings both intellectual curiosity and commercial instincts - someone energized by customer interaction, comfortable presenting to scientific audiences, and motivated by seeing their products make a real difference in research labs around the world.
  • Travel of up to 20% is expected, including some international travel to conferences, customer sites, and regional sales teams.

What You Bring:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Biology, or a closely related life science discipline; Master's degree, Ph.D, or MBA preferred
  • Work Experience: 3-5 years of product management experience in life science tools, reagents, or instrumentation.
  • Hands-on, practical laboratory experience with electrophoresis and Western blotting is required.
  • Working knowledge of additional proteomics workflows and protein analysis techniques strongly preferred.
  • Experience with chromatography and immunoassay platforms is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute product marketing strategies, including product launches, positioning, and competitive analysis.
