Job description

At Regeneron, we use science and innovation to develop life-changing medicines for people with serious diseases. We are seeking a Laboratory Assistant II to join our Product Biochemistry (PB) team, part of the Product Analytical and Process Development (PAPD) department, supporting the lab operations group. In this role, you will help manage and optimize all aspects of the lab environment - including lab management, process optimization, compliance and safety, resource allocation, and coordination & communication - while collaborating with the broader PB team.

This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing, science-driven organization making a meaningful difference to patients worldwide.

When & where:
  • Shift Requirements: Full-time
  • Location: On-site laboratory setting
  • Flexibility & travel: No travel; consistent on-site presence required to support routine lab operations
What you'll do:
  • Support lab operations by receiving packages and entering product info into the Electronic Notebook (ELN)
  • Manage sample shipment requests (internal, external, international) and maintain documentation
  • Assist with sample distribution workflows and manage distribution points
  • Organize, catalog, and reconcile sample inventory and freezers
  • Assist with managing non-database aliquot inventory and provide auxiliary support for aliquoting workflow as needed
  • Coordinate biannual pipette calibrations
  • Participate in LIMS database development, testing, and troubleshooting
  • Learn and adapt to new laboratory practices (SOPs, protocols, procedures, etc.) with supervision
  • Update and manage shared document libraries and functional Excel worksheets
  • Prioritize and manage tasks in a high-throughput laboratory to ensure smooth operation
  • Suggest key process improvement opportunities and help implement strategies to increase speed and efficiency
  • Support additional activities as they arise to continuously support PBG through future growth and expansion
