Job description

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The primary responsibility is to serve guests with excellence by taking orders and preparing food and beverages. We strive to provide a positive memorable customer experience by assuring the store is clean and by greeting customers in a friendly and helpful manner. This position will serve both our Carmel and Binford locations. This is a nonexempt part-time position that reports to the Capstone General Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Café (Bookstore)
  • Gives Ministry Away
  • Greets all customers with a welcoming friendly smile
  • Prepares beverage orders properly with a sense of urgency and care
  • Respectfully works with Shift Leader and team to ensure the best guest experience
  • Consistently cleans workstation
  • Maintains a well-stocked workstation
  • Able and willing to perform all opening and closing procedures
  • Adheres to Safe Serve guidelines
  • Regularly attends and participates in trainings
  • Maintains a clean welcoming café
  • Diligently and joyfully completes tasks and provides additional support to the team
  • Adheres to Northview's HR guidelines (Handbook) and Northview's Cultural Values
  • Committed to a personal spiritual growth plan and deeper walk with Jesus Christ

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Prior experience is preferred, not required.
