Summary

The Bindery Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily finishing and bindery operations to ensure products are produced safely, efficiently, and according to customer specifications.

This role provides leadership to bindery personnel, coordinates production schedules, verifies quality standards, supports process improvements, and ensures production goals are achieved. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.


What You'll Do
  • Lead daily bindery and finishing operations.
  • Review production job jackets and specifications to ensure work is completed accurately.
  • Coordinate production schedules and workflow priorities.
  • Supervise operators and provide daily coaching, support, and guidance.
  • Verify machine setups, cutting plans, molds, and production documentation.
  • Monitor product quality and ensure customer specifications are met.
  • Investigate and resolve production and equipment issues.
  • Review production logs and operational reporting for accuracy.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity and quality.
  • Monitor employee performance and support employee development efforts.
  • Promote safety, housekeeping, and compliance throughout the department.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and security standards.
  • Support a positive, team-oriented work environment.

What You'll BringEducation & Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
