Role Overview
The Credit Services Specialist serves as a primary point of contact for a nationwide customer base, providing timely, accurate, and professional support across a range of credit-related tasks. This role focuses on delivering a positive customer experience by addressing questions, resolving problems, and ensuring satisfaction through every interaction. This role is approved to be fully remote and can be based anywhere in the United States.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Review incoming lien waiver requests and sworn statements for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal guidelines.
  • Validate supporting documentation (proof of payment, invoices, job information).
  • Ensure compliance with state-specific lien waiver laws and internal risk policies.
  • Use Billtrust to confirm customer payments, remittance details, and cash posting status.
  • Navigate Trilogy to access customer job information, invoice data, order history, and account notes to ensure waiver accuracy.
  • Use a Notary platform to electronically process notarized lien waivers when required by state regulations or customer contracts.
  • Use the Handle Platform to execute waivers.
  • Communicate with customers, sales teams, field credit regarding waiver requests
  • Responsible for managing a high volume of emails daily and take inbound calls
  • Serve as primary point of contact for nationwide customer base ensuring consistency of service.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and customer-facing associates/departments.
  • Ensure timely and accurate resolution of account-related issues while maintaining best-in-class customer service.
  • Resolve customer issues by investigating and troubleshooting problems and providing appropriate solutions.

Qualifications
  • Credit experience of 1 - 3 years
  • Effectively communicate verbally and in writing
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.)
  • Must have strong and accurate data entry skills
  • Perform basic math functions
  • Proven track record of responding quickly to customer needs and ability to make decisions in a timely manner.
  • Ability to react well in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change
  • Ability to prioritize workload appropriately in order to balance multiple demands and meet timelines as required
  • Eagerness to learn and strong critical thinking skills required
  • All applicants must be highly detail oriented and have outstanding interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of constructions lien waivers would be a plus

Pay Range:
Actual pay rate may vary depending upon location. The estimated pay range for this position is below. The specific rate will depend on a candidate's qualifications and prior experience.
$19.62 - $27.45
Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
Ferguson complies with all wage regulations. The starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements.
