Red River Pharmacy Services – Full-Time Billing Coordinator (Long Term Care)

Texarkana
Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Full-Time Position

Red River Pharmacy Services is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Billing Coordinator to join our growing Long Term Care Department in Texarkana. This is an entry level position that plays an important role in supporting facility billing operations while delivering excellent customer service to our partner facilities and patients. This is not medical billing / coding position.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Assisting with long term care facility billing
  • Creating and preparing welcome packets
  • Making collection calls as needed
  • Communicating with facilities regarding billing questions
  • Maintaining accurate billing records and documentation
  • Assisting with additional departmental duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Previous billing or healthcare office experience preferred
  • Long term care or pharmacy experience is a plus
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional phone etiquette and customer service skills
  • Basic computer knowledge and attention to detail
