Join our Revenue Management Team as a Legal Billing Specialist in our Salt Lake City Office.
We are seeking a highly skilled and meticulous professional who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. As a Legal Billing Specialist, you will provide end-to-end invoice preparation while ensuring efficiency and accuracy in every task. This role will be based in our Salt Lake City office. This position reports to the Billing Manager of Revenue Management. The candidate must be flexible to work overtime as needed.
Key Responsibilities
  • Edits Prebills via Prebill Viewer and Aderant based on the request from the Billing Attorneys.
  • Generates a high volume of complex client invoices via Aderant.
  • Ensures that all invoices are compliant with the billing guidelines and that all required supporting documentation is compiled prior to submission.
  • Submits ebills via EHub, including all supporting documentation.
  • Monitors and immediately addresses any invoice rejections, reductions, and those needing appeals.
  • Responds to billing inquiries.
  • Undertakes special projects and ad hoc reports as needed and/or requested.

Education & Prior Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Legal Biller required.

Technology
  • Aderant or Elite/3E preferred, Prebill Viewer, E-billing Hub, Bill Blast.
  • Proficiency in Excel required.
  • Demonstrates a basic understanding of artificial intelligence (AI), including core capabilities, limitations, and importance of data privacy, accuracy, verification, and ethical considerations within a professional services environment
  • Familiarity with or willingness to learn AI platforms (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar tools) and incorporate them responsibly into day-to-day workflows to enhance daily work tasks as appropriate and/or directed
  • Proactive approach to learning and adapting to emerging AI and related technologies and contributes to a culture of innovation
