Summary
Key Responsibilities

    Develop, manage, motivate and coach staff to fulfill departmental performance goals while also encouraging employee growth and engagement
    Lead / assist continuous improvement activities relating to collections that drive improved timeliness, accuracy, compliance and discipline
    Support team with conflict resolution on aging accounts and help formulate collection strategies
    Assist with establishing targets for key metrics and effectively support the team to meet or exceed these targets
    Develop business relationships with internal and external customers to secure their support in minimizing financial risks and facilitate dispute resolution
    Monitor collections performance according to quality and productivity standards 
    Oversee credit adjudication process
 

Critical Qualifications

    Degree in business administration, finance, mathematics, or CPA Accounting designation (or in the process of completing designation)
    3+ years' experience working in a collections environment managing a group of 10+ employees
    Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint
    Effective communication skills (written, verbal and presentation skills) and ability to influence stakeholders
    Analytical and problem solving skills

Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
