Job description

Job Title: Billing Administrator
Industry: Industrial Services
Location - Reading, PA
Assignment Type: Contract to Hire
Hybrid/On-site: On-site 5 days a week
Pay Rate? $22.00 - 29.00/hr.
Work Schedule: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
An Addison Group client is looking to add a BILLING ADMINISTRATOR to their team! This person will be responsible for managing the company's billing processes, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, and maintaining organized financial records, as well as supporting general administrative functions.
Responsibilities
  • Generate, review, and issue accurate invoices to clients/customers in a timely manner
  • Process payments and reconcile accounts receivable
  • Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue payments
  • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes
  • Maintain accurate billing records and customer account information
  • Prepare regular billing reports and summaries for management
  • Coordinate with sales, operations, or project teams to ensure billing accuracy
  • Assist with month-end and year-end billing close processes
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations
  • Maintain and organize physical and digital filing systems
  • Answer phones, respond to emails, and handle general correspondence
  • Schedule meetings, manage calendars, and coordinate appointments
  • Order office supplies and manage vendor relationships as needed
  • Assist with data entry and maintaining accurate company records
  • Support other departments with administrative tasks as required
  • Greet visitors and manage front-office duties, if applicable

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or general administrative support
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and billing/accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
