Schedule: Full Time (4 - 10 hour shifts)
This position requires full-time, on-site attendance during the first 60 days of employment. Following this period, this role may have the opportunity to transition to a hybrid work arrangement, including one in-office day per week, based on performance.

Medical Billing and Coding Specialist Essential Job Responsibilities:
  • Enter CPT and ICD 10 codes accurately and expeditiously to ensure proper records handling
  • Update patient demographic and insurance information as needed
  • Assist and resolve patient inbound calls in a timely and courteous manner
  • Responsible for processing any updated information for claims to reprocess and ensure timely payment
  • Maintain constant professional communication with providers and other staff
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred
  • Three (3) years of billing experience in a healthcare organization or setting
  • CPC certification required
  • Primary Care Billing experience required
