These nurses provide medical care and support to patients while bridging language barriers, ensuring clear communication and culturally competent care for Tagalog-speaking patients. They may work in hospitals, clinics, home health, or community settings where there is a significant Filipino population. Their bilingual skills can improve patient outcomes by fostering trust and understanding between healthcare providers and patients.
