Job Summary
The Project Manager oversees day-to-day roofing projects and business operations to ensure jobs are completed on time, within budget, safely, and to quality standards. This role acts as the bridge between ownership, crews, and customers, coordinating scheduling, materials, labor, and communication across all roofing operations.
In addition to a competitive base salary and benefits, this role is eligible for quarterly performance bonuses. 

Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of roofing systems, materials, and installation methods
  • Proven experience managing crews and multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
  • Proficiency with scheduling software, spreadsheets, and basic project management tools
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to visit job sites
  • MUST BE Bilingual (English/Spanish) 
Project Management Duties
  • Plan, schedule, and manage residential roofing projects from start to completion
  • Coordinate crews for each job
  • Review contracts, scopes of work, and job specifications before project start
  • Conduct pre-job and post-job meetings with homeowner 
  • Monitor project progress and timelines 
  • Handle change orders, job adjustments, and unexpected site issues
  • Perform site visits to ensure quality workmanship and safety compliance
  • Ensure jobs pass inspections and meet local building codes
  • Manage project closeout, punch lists, and final documentation as needed
Operations Management Duties
  • Oversee daily operations of roofing crews 
  • Manage production schedules to maximize efficiency
  • Order and track delivery of roofing materials and equipment
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, vehicles, and equipment
  • Develop and improve operational processes and workflows
  • Track job costs, labor hours, and material usage
  • Assist ownership with forecasting, and capacity planning
Customer & Communication Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during active projects
  • Communicate schedules, delays, and project updates clearly and professionally
  • Resolve customer concerns or complaints promptly
  • Coordinate with sales teams and estimators to ensure smooth job handoffs
  • Maintain strong relationships with homeowners
Safety & Compliance
  • Enforce company safety policies and all Washington state roofing safety standards
  • Conduct job site safety inspections
  • Ensure crews follow fall protection and job hazard protocols
  • Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
Administrative & Reporting Duties
  • Maintain accurate job records and photos
  • Prepare project reports, production summaries, and operational updates
  • Assist with change order documentation
  • Support hiring, training, and performance management of crew members

Preferred Skills
  • Experience with residential and/or commercial roofing projects
  • Experience in a small business or hands-on environment
  • 7+ years of experience in roofing
  • 4+ years of experience in management 
Work Environment
  • Combination of office work and active job site visits
  • May require climbing ladders, walking roofs, and exposure to outdoor conditions
