We are looking to spin up multiple crews but need an operations manager to help recruit, train and ensure teams and jobs are supplied with the correct materials. EverLine Coatings and Services, a rapidly scaling commercial service brand is looking for an experienced, reliable, and proactive Operations Manager to lead our Seattle location. Our small but rapidly growing team is in need of a critical field training and support function leader to successfully launch and support our growing network.

Job Brief

We are looking for an Operations Manager to oversee all staff, budgets, and operations of the local business unit. The Operations Manager responsibilities include formulating overall strategy, executing this strategy, managing people, and establishing policies. To be successful in this role, you should be a thoughtful leader and a confident decision-maker, helping our people develop and be productive while ensuring our profits are on the rise. Ultimately, you'll help our company grow and thrive.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations
  • Design strategy and set goals for growth
  • Maintain budgets and optimize expenses
  • Set policies and processes
  • Ensure employees work productively, arrive to work on time, and develop professionally
  • Oversee recruitment and training of new employees
  • Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance
  • Direct the employee assessment process
  • Prepare regular reports for ownership
  • Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations
  • Provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors)

Requirements and Skills

  • Proven experience as an Operations, General Manager or similar role
  • Experience in planning and budgeting
  • Is able to train and coach the staff on proper tool usage
  • Easily sees new business opportunities
  • Experienced with using hand and power tools and is skilled enough to use the proper tools to troubleshoot broken equipment on jobsites, make repairs, and help with scheduled maintenance on equipment
  • Knowledge of business processes and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations, etc.)
  • Strong analytical ability
  • Effectively prioritizes and delegates tasks
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
  • Problem-solving aptitude
  • BSc/BA in Business or relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
  • Previous Automotive Mechanic work or small engine work like Honda lawnmowers is a plus
  • Welding skills is a plus

Compensation: $67,500.00 per year
