Are you an avid cyclist looking for a unique way to get paid for your passion?
Performance Driven Workforce (PDW) is seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as Seasonal E-Bike Test Riders. In this role, you’ll be part of an exciting project helping to test and evaluate electric bicycles (E-bikes) to improve performance, durability, and rider experience. This Seasonal E-Bike Test Rider position is based out of Palo Alto, CA. Candidates meeting the requirements for the Seasonal E-Bike Test Rider position below are strongly encouraged to apply. No technical experience is required — just your keen eye and cycling expertise.
What You’ll Do:
  • Ride on designated routes (city streets, bike paths, and trails) for 2-3 hours per shift
  • Log miles on our cutting-edge e-bikes across designated city streets, bike paths, and trails
  • Provide daily reports and detailed feedback on bike performance, handling, and battery life
  • Follow all safety protocols and testing instructions
Compensation:
  • $23.00/hour
Shifts:
  • AM shift (4-hours): 7:00 am - 11:00 am (Monday – Friday)
  • AM shift (8-hours): 7:00 am - 3:00 pm (Monday – Friday)
  • Mid-day shift (4-hours): 11:00 am – 3:00 pm (Monday – Friday)
    • Flexible scheduling
What We’re Looking For:
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
  • Comfortable riding a bicycle 2-3 hours per shift
  • Basic computer skills to complete daily reports and use communication software
  • Ability to follow safety protocols
  • Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to read maps and follow routes accurately
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, in English
Preferred Skills (Not Required):
  • Previous e-bike riding experience
  • Experience using Strava, Garmin, or other ride-tracking tools
  • Bicycle mechanic experience
