Bike Fitter

Palo Alto, CA

Do you believe bikes change lives? Are you passionate about cycling and helping others ride longer, faster, and more comfortably? Mike’s Bikes is looking for a Level 1 or Level 2 Bike Fitter to join our rider-focused team. In this role, you’ll be part advisor and full-time cycling advocate.

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver world-class service to riders through our proven fit methodology.
  • Conduct comprehensive physical and structural pre-assessments.
  • Recommend and perform bike adjustments: frame size, handlebar width, saddle position, cleat placement, and more.
  • Utilize fit tools and software to improve rider performance and comfort.
  • Work collaboratively with retail and service teams to create a seamless rider experience.
  • Maintain clean and organized fitting and product areas.
  • Understanding and clearly communicating systems relating to handlebar width, stack/reach, saddle selection, saddle height, saddle fore/aft, leg extension, cleat placement, cleat shims, and foot beds to improve comfort & performance

Bonus: Applicants willing and able to support the service department between fit appointments—helping riders get back on the road even faster and expanding their technical skills—will be prioritized.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Passion for cycling and helping others
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Willingness to work weekends as needed
  • Ability to lift 35+ lbs and stand for long periods
  • Prior fitting experience and/or training is a bonus, but not compulsory

What You'll Get:

  • Hourly base pay based on experience
  • 20% commission on paid fit labor
  • Eligibility for weekly store bonuses
  • Training and support from the FIT Program Leader

Whether you're starting your fitter journey or building on your experience, this is a rewarding opportunity to make a real impact in our cycling community.
