Job description

Al's Sporting Goods is seeking experienced and detail-oriented Bike Assembly Technicians to join the Bike Service Technician Team in our St. George store, to assemble a wide range of bicycles, from kids' bikes to high-end road and mountain bikes, including e-bikes. We work with the best brands in the industry including Trek, Specialized, Scott, and many more. he ideal candidate will have a passion for bicycles, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to meet high-quality standards while working independently.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble bicycles of various types and complexities according to manufacturer specifications, including kids' bikes, road bikes, mountain bikes, and e-bikes
  • Ensure all bicycles are built to company and industry quality and safety standards
  • Inspect and adjust components to ensure proper function, including brakes, derailleurs, wheels, and electronic systems for e-bikes
  • Perform final checks on all assembled bikes to ensure they are ride-ready for customers
  • Maintain an organized and efficient workspace, keeping tools and equipment in good working condition
  • Meet productivity targets while maintaining high-quality workmanship
    Communicate effectively with the team to report any issues with parts, tools, or processes

Qualifications
  • Previous experience assembling bicycles or working in a bike shop is preferred
  • Strong mechanical skills and the ability to use hand and power tools effectively
  • Familiarity with bike components, including drivetrains, brakes, and electronic systems for e-bikes
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship
    Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
