Job description

Big Data Technical Lead

Location: Austin, Texas

Position: Fulltime

Work experience of full stack Big Data project on HDP platform.

Hands-on experience in Spark, Python, Hive and Kafka.

Agile with good knowledge of relational DWs like Teradata and knowledge on No SQL Databases is a plus.

Good experience in at least one Hadoop distributor like Hortonworks and Python scripting.

Design, develop, and configure software systems to meet market and/or client requirements either end-to-end SDLC cycle with the optimal use of Big Data.

Experience on Data standards and Security with respect to Big Data Tools and utilities.

Working experience with large volume of data.

An ability to communicate technical information to non-technical staff in a way that is easy to understand.

Excellent presentation and documentation skills.

Previous experience working in a technical pre-sales position is a plus.
