Job description

This year's Big Day of Play is on Saturday, August 15th from 12 p.m.-5 p.m. at Rainier Community Playfield and Mt. Baker Rowing and Sailing Center.

Big Day of Play is a celebration of our City’s diversity and it encourages neighbors, communities and families to have fun, build relationships and be active together.

Volunteer groups will choose from one of the following volunteer activities during their shift:

  • Field Games and Activities Monitoring
  • Greeter and Transportation Support
  • Surveying Participants and Giving Out Prizes
  • Cheering on the Fun Run Participants
  • And much more!

Service learning credit is available for students, up to 8 hours.

The Volunteer Programs Coordinator will send a registration link to you via email once you submit an interest form on Idealist.
