Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Project Manager I to oversee the planning and execution of projects related to civil construction, electrical installations, and EV (Electric Vehicle) charging station deployments. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills as well as a strong background in managing infrastructure projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple projects related to civil, electrical, and EV charging station installations.
  • Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, engineers, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Monitor progress and performance; identify and mitigate risks and issues.
  • Work directly with field installation crews
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including safety and environmental standards.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure quality and progress align with plans.
  • Prepare and present regular progress reports to stakeholders.
  • Oversee procurement and logistics of materials and equipment.
  • Ensure proper documentation and closeout of all projects.
  • Conduct project post-mortems to identify areas for improvement and best practices
  • Attending bid walks as needed

Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field
  • Minimum 7 years experience with Civil Construction, Electrical, Construction Management, or a related field. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience in civil construction and electrical infrastructure.
  • Direct experience with EV charging station installations is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, electrical schematics, permitting processes, and safety standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards
  • Proficiency in various computer software (e.g., G-suite, Office, FieldCLIX etc.).
  • PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.


Work Environment & Physical Demands

  • Combination of office and at times bid walks, pre-construction walks, customer interaction meetings.
  • Occasional travel to job sites may be required.
  • Ability to navigate construction sites, including standing, walking, and climbing as needed.
