About This Role

We're seeking a skilled Bike Builder to join our team. If you're passionate about cycling and have a knack for bicycle mechanics, we'd love to hear from you!

This role offers the opportunity to assemble and prepare bikes for sale, working closely with a team committed to delivering exceptional sales and service experiences. We're open to candidates of all ages and experience levels.

We're looking for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, proactive, positive, and a problem solver.


What You'll Do

Key responsibilities include:

  • Applying shop standards to the assembly of bikes.
  • Meeting or exceeding shop production standards.
  • Assembling new bicycles and preparing them for sale.
  • Installing, repairing, and replacing equipment or accessories.
  • Aligning wheels, installing new tires and tubes, and cleaning and lubricating bicycle parts.
  • Ordering bicycle parts and building wheels by cutting and threading new spokes.
  • Installing vehicle parts or accessories and adjusting vehicle components according to specifications.
  • Performing other duties as needed or assigned.

Requirements

Requirements include:

  • Ability to maintain open and positive relations with employees.
  • Previous bike assembly experience or equivalent preferred.
  • Interest in working in a team environment committed to providing excellent sales and service experience while increasing sales through service.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to periodically lift 40 pounds.
