Convergentz, a division of Hunton Group, has a new and exciting opportunity to join our organization as a Security Low Voltage Construction Sales Account Manager. The selected candidate will be responsible for identifying, bidding, and securing projects involving security systems and low voltage technologies in new construction or renovation projects. The individual will interpret construction plans and specifications, liaise with general contractors, engineers, and end-users, and provide detailed proposals that meet security and communication infrastructure requirements. This position involves both office and field work. The Salesperson will be expected to travel to construction sites, meet with clients, and work collaboratively with project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review construction plans and specifications to identify project opportunities for security and low voltage systems.
  • Prepare and submit detailed, competitive proposals and bids based on project scope.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, architects, engineers, and decision-makers.
  • Attend pre-bid meetings and conduct site visits to assess conditions and project requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure accurate system design and scope of work.
  • Follow up on bids and negotiate contracts to secure profitable business.
