Job Title: Power BI Developer
Location: Spring, TX
Type: Contract

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop advanced BI dashboards, reports, and reusable data models to support PMO, portfolio, and project reporting.
  • Define and embed standardized PMO KPIs, metrics, and scorecards into analytics solutions, ensuring consistent business logic and calculations.
  • Deliver documentation, training, and knowledge transfer to enable PMO and internal teams to own and evolve the analytics tools after the engagement.
  • Create scalable data models, automated data pipelines, and advanced BI dashboards that provide robust, self-service insights for portfolio, program, and project performance.
  • Work closely with PMO stakeholders to translate business requirements into fit-for-purpose analytics tools.
  • Manage and set up BI workspaces, apps, dataflows, gateways, and deployment pipelines using Power BI or equivalent tools.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • Advanced experience in analytics/BI development or data engineering, with a strong focus on building production-grade BI solutions.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing BI solutions in project-oriented or PMO environments.
  • Experience working with project/portfolio data (schedule, cost, resource, risk, benefits) is strongly preferred.
  • Strong solution design mindset, with the ability to turn business requirements into practical, scalable analytics tools.
  • Advanced Power BI (or equivalent) experience setting up and managing BI workspaces, apps, dataflows, gateways, and deployment pipelines.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and documentation skills; highly organized and self-directed in a consulting role.
