The BI Analyst role is part of a team responsible for supporting Majestic's Sales, Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance organizations with the design, development, and management of analytical solutions to drive insights that are accurate and performant. As part of this team you will use data management, reporting and automation tools to support Majestic's strategic initiatives. Solutions developed by the BI Analyst will help unlock insights that drive growth, value creation and efficiencies.

What You'll Do:
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Majestic's datasets, reporting tools, and analytics solutions.
  • Develop end-to-end business intelligence solutions from raw data to deployment.
  • Identify accurate methods of reporting, analyzing and communicating information and insights.
  • Build and maintain data agents to enable conversational experiences
  • Empower teams through training, collaboration, and intuitive data experiences.
  • Ensure governance, security, and compliance for models and agents.
  • Stay ahead of emerging BI technologies to continuously improve Majestic's analytics capabilities.
  • Contribute to special projects and other assignments that advance Majestic's data strategy.

This role incorporates the use of Microsoft Fabric and Copilot to enhance insight generation, streamline business processes, and enable conversational data experiences. By building intuitive solutions that democratize data access and eliminate repetitive tasks, the BI Analyst empowers strategic decision-making throughout Majestic.
Who We're Looking For:
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree Business, Accounting, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum three (3) years of analytical experience creating datasets, reports, dashboards, and transforming large amounts of data into actionable intelligence to drive business decisions.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and strong experience with Windows-based business. applications

Skills:
  • Organized, creative problem solver who builds strong relationships and drives practical solutions.
  • Expertise in data visualization with Power BI and dataset preparation using SQL.
  • Familiarity with Copilot including report generation, semantic model interaction, and DAX creation.
  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and critical-thinking abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Attention to detail while meeting deadlines.
  • Clear and confident communicator with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently.

What Makes You Stand Out:
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server environment, SSAS within and/or equivalent Transactional Data Warehouse environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of DAX and hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric workloads, Fabric Data Agents, and Fabric Notebooks.
  • Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate

Additional:
  • Proven ability to work efficiently and effectively from a home office setting.
  • Must be able to work outside normal business hours/days as needed.
