Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Business Intelligence Tools – SQL (Level 4 / 5, 3 years)
  • Business Objects (Level 0 / 5, 3 years)
  • Collaboration: Very Strong (Level 4 / 5)
  • Data analysis: No familiarity (Level 0 / 5, 5 years)
  • Microsoft Office Suite: Very Strong (Level 4 / 5, 2 years)
  • Problem identification: Very Strong (Level 4 / 5, 0 years)
  • Web analytic applications: Very Strong (Level 4 / 5, 3 years)
Responsibilities
  • Review website behavior patterns and visitor satisfaction using metric and business intelligence tools to analyze and optimize business results and customer experience.
  • Interpret web analytics and customer satisfaction data to develop key insights and recommendations to improve the customer experience across web, mobile and social media channels.
  • Compile and analyze quantitative and qualitative data, develop models, conduct data verification and hypothesis testing.
  • Use business intelligence tools such as SQL, Business Objects, WebTrends and UX tools – Tealeaf.
  • Execute data processing, analyze data and prepare reports using Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Create dashboards, scorecards and canned reports to support key business initiatives and track performance.
  • Support team members on project efforts and liaise with marketing clients and other IT organizations to deliver findings and results.

Mandatory Technical Skills
  • Install, configure, and manage a multi‑node cluster of Business Objects BI 4.X Enterprise Server
  • Configure Apache Tomcat and IBM WebSphere application server
  • Strong experience with infrastructure environments (operating systems, hardware, data center, security, network and related applications)
  • Monitor, communicate and troubleshoot data integrity and design issues
  • Perform routine program modifications, performance tuning, debugging and unit testing; respond quickly to alerts
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to provide guidance and promote platform benefits
  • Develop, implement and document processes and standards for SAP Business Objects
  • Debug Business Objects Server errors and implement fixes and patches
