In the assigned Job Role of Technology Consultant 2, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:
• Contribute to the requirements elicitation process by documenting assigned parts of business requirements, in line with guidance provided
• Facilitate software application design discussions, and document design decisions to guide the technical team towards building software solutions
• Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications, with a focus on maintaining system stability
• Conduct code reviews, do changes to the codebase and maintain code repositories
• Implement test strategies, analyse results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold the software quality standards
• Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks to ensure a smooth transition to new software applications
• Actively participate in resolving production issues and recommend preventive strategies to enhance system reliability
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to enrich the knowledge base and assist other similar projects

Required Skill and Experience

• Experienced in data source connectivity, gateway management, capacity planning, and security models.
• Knowledge of Power BI tenant settings, workspaces, gateways, and dataflows is must.
• Familiarity of visualization technology's REST APIs for automation and management.
• Ensure high availability, disaster recovery readiness, and platform scalability.
• Experienced in design end to end BI platform architectures supporting enterprise grade analytics.
• Define and enforce governance standards, including:
Data security & RLS/authorization frameworks
Naming conventions
Workspace/project taxonomy
Lifecycle management (dev → test → prod)
Usage/audit monitoring
• Partner with Data Architecture and Cloud teams to define best practice integration patterns.
• Manage and mentor a team of cloud visualization platform infrastructure SMEs, providing technical leadership and direction.
• Own and manage platform lifecycle - patching, upgrades, capacity planning, performance tuning, and financial/license management.
• Enable new features, tools, and innovations that enhance user experience and productivity in collaboration with new product innovation and enterprise architecture team.
• User access management. Managing user accounts, permissions, and roles.
• Capacity management. Managing capacities, to ensure sufficient resources for user needs.
• Platform configuration. Configuring settings, policies, and features to align with organizational needs and security requirements.
• Governance and compliance: Ensuring compliance with organizational policies and industry regulations.
• Monitoring and Auditing: Tracking usage, performance, and auditing activity.
• Knowledge of different Azure/AWS database platforms and SQL.
• Design and implement cloud security principles around data protection, identity and access Management (IAM), compliance and regulatory, threat detection and prevention, disaster recovery and business continuity.
Preferred Skill and Experience
• Problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Certifications in Azure/AWS platform administration, networking and security are preferred.
• Self-organization, time management and prioritization skills.
• Collaboration, teamwork and relationship building skills across multiple levels and functions in the organization.
• Ability to listen, establish rapport, and credibility as a strategic partner vertically within the business unit or function, as well as with leadership and functional teams.

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
