Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Bodily Injury Litigation Adjuster to manage complex, attorney-represented bodily injury claims within the non-standard auto market. This role is ideal for a strong claims professional with extensive litigation handling experience who can independently manage a high-exposure caseload while serving as a leader and resource within the claims team.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional negotiation skills, strong analytical abilities, and a deep understanding of non-standard auto claims handling, litigation strategy, liability investigation, and injury evaluation. This position requires a confident decision-maker who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can effectively partner with attorneys, claimants, and internal leadership to drive claims toward fair and timely resolution.
Key Responsibilities
  • Independently manage a pending of complex and litigated bodily injury claims from inception through resolution.
  • Handle attorney-represented and non-represented claims involving moderate to severe injuries and disputed liability.
  • Conduct detailed coverage, liability, and damages investigations.
  • Evaluate medical records, treatment plans, wage loss documentation, and other damages exposures.
  • Establish and maintain accurate claim reserves based on claim exposure and litigation strategy.
  • Negotiate settlements directly with attorneys, claimants, and other involved parties.
  • Partner with defense counsel and actively participate in litigation management, including trial preparation, mediation, and settlement conferences.
  • Maintain thorough and timely claim documentation in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with insureds, attorneys, medical providers, and internal stakeholders throughout the life of the claim.
  • Serve as a subject matter resource and mentor for less experienced adjusters when needed.
Qualifications

  • Active Texas Multi-Line Adjuster License required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of bodily injury claims handling experience required.
  • Extensive experience handling heavy litigation and attorney-represented BI claims.
  • Strong background in non-standard auto insurance required.
  • Proven ability to independently manage complex, high-exposure claims.
  • Strong negotiation, investigative, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Prior leadership, mentoring, or supervisory experience is a plus.
  • THIS IS AN IN PERSON POSITION. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK IN OFFICE.
Preferred Experience

  • Experience handling litigated claims through trial preparation and resolution.
  • Familiarity with Texas insurance regulations and non-standard auto claims environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and make strategic claim decisions independently.
