This process requires specialized equipment to remove defective BGAs, clean the pads, apply solder, and reattach or replace the component while ensuring proper alignment. Technicians performing BGA rework must have expertise in soldering, thermal profiling, and quality inspection to prevent board damage. This role is essential in electronics manufacturing and repair, particularly for high-density, complex PCBs.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the Bga Rework position, and why are they important?

To thrive in BGA Rework, you need exceptional soldering precision, strong knowledge of electronics and PCB repair, and experience working with ball grid arrays (BGAs). Proficiency with rework stations, hot air soldering tools, microscopes, and IPC or J-STD-001 certification is highly valued.
