This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to low-Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar, and beyond. Its first stage is fully reusable, and the vehicle was designed from the beginning to be human-capable.

The ProjectManager IIfor the 9 EngineMidModuleis responsible forensuring hardware availability within need time for our flight and qual article.This rolemaintainsend-to-end planning and procurement signal flow for critical components,eliminatingfalse demand, aligning MRP with P6 forecasts, and enabling on-time manufacturing and launch readiness. The position bridges engineering and supply chain disciplines to provide, data-driven decision makingand systematic risk management for this mission-critical vehicle subsystem.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop andmaintainmetrics for quick schedule blocker identification anddata-driven decision making, integrating inputs from engineering, supply chain,and manufacturing.

  • Develop and implement data engineering solutions using AI/Databricks tools to enhance visibility into technical material readiness

  • ValidateMRP demand signals, resolvingeBOM-mBOMmismatches and ensuring alignment with engineering requirementsandbuild strategy.

  • Ensure alignment with program-level tracking of design and schedule performance

  • Utilize data toidentifyand kick off mitigation for critical program schedule risks

  • Coordinate across Engineering, Planning, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing organizations to resolve technical issues affecting material flow,maintainclean and consistentdata.

Qualifications:

  • Understanding of engineering change management and configuration control processes

  • Working knowledge of MRP systems and technical procurement specifications

  • Experience withdatabricks, AI, SQL, and/or other programminglanaguages

  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and aerospace materials/processes requirements

  • Experience with project scheduling tools and technical timeline management

  • Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize technical data into actionable insights

  • Exceptional communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts across diverse functional teams

  • Proficiencywith Microsoft Office Suite and technical data analysis tools

Preferredand QualificationsExperience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related STEM field

  • 3+years of engineering project experience in aerospace or complex manufacturing environments

  • Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to use data to driveactions

  • Experience managing technical aspects of procurement for complex aerospace systems or assemblies

  • Track recordof applying engineering principles to supply chain and material readiness challenges

  • Experience with ERP systems and technical data management platforms

  • Knowledge of aerospace quality standards, manufacturing processes, and compliance requirements

  • Demonstrated skill in technical risk assessment and mitigation planning

  • Experience applying data analytics(e.g., SQL, Databricks, BI tools)to improve engineering and procurement processes

Base Pay Range for:

WA applicants is $91,852.00 - $128,592.45

  • Required for certain Job Profiles: Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential, which includes pre-employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical
