What You'll Do
Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for key commodities, components, and finished goods.
  • Identify, evaluate, qualify, and onboard domestic and international suppliers.
  • Lead supplier negotiations, contract development, and commercial discussions.
  • Build strong supplier relationships that support quality, delivery, innovation, and cost objectives.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and drive accountability through metrics and improvement plans.

Business Partnership & Collaboration
  • Partner with Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to support new product introductions and growth initiatives.
  • Align sourcing strategies with operational requirements and business objectives.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain.

Market Intelligence & Risk Management
  • Monitor market trends, commodity movements, and supply chain risks.
  • Develop proactive sourcing strategies to mitigate disruptions and improve resiliency.
  • Analyze supplier capabilities, market conditions, and total cost opportunities.

Operational Excellence
  • Improve sourcing processes and supplier performance programs.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support supplier diversity and sustainability initiatives.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.
  • Experience sourcing internationally and developing global supplier networks.
  • Proven contract negotiation and supplier management experience.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and project management skills.
  • Experience utilizing ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience sourcing HVAC, mechanical, manufacturing, or electronic components.
  • Knowledge of global trade regulations, logistics, and supplier risk management.
  • Experience supporting new product development and product launches.
  • Understanding of Quick Response Manufacturing (QRM) principles.
  • Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma certification.
  • Spanish language proficiency.

Physical and Mental Demands

The employee frequently is required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms.
