Position Overview

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Lung Transplant Pulmonologist to join Newark Beth Israel Medical Center’s Lung Transplant Program, the only program of its kind in New Jersey. This opportunity is part of a nationally recognized, growing program dedicated to innovation, collaboration, and world‑class patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in all phases of lung transplant care, including evaluation, listing, perioperative management, and post‑transplant follow‑up.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary transplant surgeons, coordinators and support staff to deliver comprehensive services.
  • Engage in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives through Rutgers New Jersey Medical School.
  • Provide mentorship and educational support to junior clinicians and trainees.
  • Open to new fellowship graduates and experienced transplant pulmonologists.
Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated salary range for this position is $400,000 to $600,000 per year, subject to candidate qualifications and experience.
