Job description

Aiken Regional Medical Centers in Aiken, SC is recruiting a BC/BE Family Medicine physician. The position includes a faculty role with our community-based FM residency program or Transitional Year program.

Highlights:

  • Employed position with Aiken Physicians Alliance 
  • Outpatient only | No IP or hospital call
  • Practice at one of four Aiken-area primary care clinics 
  • Collegial team of physicians, APPs, and MAs 
  • ~18-20 patients per day
  • Cerner EMR 

Responsibilities:

  • Support ARMC's mission of delivering high quality, compassionate care to the community of Aiken and surrounding area
  • Practice comprehensive family medical care in a community setting
  • Provide preventative care including well visits, screenings, and health education
  • Diagnose, treat and manage conditions ranging from common illnesses to chronic disease
  • Serve as core or teaching faculty educating and precepting FM residents or Transitional Year

Requirements:

  • BC/BE Family Medicine
  • Active, clear SC license and DEA or ability to obtain
  • Clean professional background
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Compassionate bedside manner
