Job description

The Best Buddies Friendship Walk is the leading walk in the country supporting inclusion for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Our success is due to the commitment and dedication of local volunteers who share our vision towards making the world a more inclusive, accepting place.

2026 Best Buddies Friendship Walk

Saturday, May 2, 2026

Event Time: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Craig Ranch Regional Park, 628 W Craig Rd, North Las Vegas, NV 89032

Volunteer Roles:

  • 5am - Unload Truck and place everything at specified location
  • 6am - 8am - Set up Walk Area, Hang Banners, Decorate

Set up of Walk Festivities - Tents, Decor & More.

  • 8:30am - Event Volunteers, Registration, Mascots
  • 10:30am - 12pm Walk Route cheerleaders (hold signs / HIGH-5 walkers) Pass out waters.

Enthusiasm is needed in this role - great for all ages!

  • 12pm - 1pm Pack up, tear down event and load truck with all supplies.
  • 2pm - 2:30pm Unload Truck on West Flamingo/215
