Job description

Driver Helper Needed
This is not a driving only position. Our drivers play dual roles for our moving company.
Our drivers are H.U.N.K.S., and must be: Honest, Uniformed, Nice, Knowledgeable, and Service-oriented. Looking to become a leader? Our leaders make between $14-$20 an hour with their hourly pay, cash/card tips, uncapped monthly bonuses, overtime, and other financial incentives.
CDL/DOT accepted. We will train non CDL/DOT individuals as well.
Responsibilities:
1. Go out of your way to be friendly (smile, eye contact, small-talk) to everyone whom you come in contact with throughout the day - especially your clients.
2. Educate clients about our services and competitive prices.
3. -SAFELY operate our vehicles and participate in the SAFE Drivers Program.
4. Make sure all daily truck inspections are performed (tire pressure, oil, equipment, lights, etc).
5. Make sure your truck has proper documentation and marketing material.
6. Be able to make logistical decisions (when to dispose, what to donate or recycle, how to best complete a job, how to package items and load a truck, how to market during downtime).
7. Lead your team by relevant example, showing them what the core values of the company are all about.
8. Help to train new hires about the day to day operations and core values.
9. Check in regularly throughout the day with direct supervisor for additional assignments and troubleshooting guidance.

1. Valid Driver's license
2. Must be able to pass a background check
3. Weekend availability
